She came to us reasonably well used to the crate so there was no issue there. |

Puppies nip. They pretty much all do to one extent or another. ACD pups bite. It's not agression. It's part of their herding technique. It was quite frustrating when she didn’t seem to respond to all the usual techniques to curtail it. |

We have been working on a sort of a heel for a while now. Really it has just been loose-leash walking combined with paying attention to whichever one of us is holding the leash. (see “Look at me and beginning to Heel”) I thought I should start working with a more formal heel and began to do so. |
