Agility

Another fun day at the puppy agility class intro. It was much easier to keep keep her attention this time since she had a routine morning.

Routine

We went on our usual hour and a half walk, stopping at the park to play, then home for breakfast.

Lila gets a nap after that while we take Ipo out. We usually walk them seperately if S_ and I are not both here to do it together. It's just to much of a pain for one person to walk them both since Lila still tries to play with Ipo along the way, and he still tries to get away from her. This makes it difficult to develop good walking habits in Lila, and may start to break Ipo's good habits.

When Ipo gets back, we serve breakfast along with a little formal training session, then it's time to pee. I do some work keeping Lila by my desk, then it's time to eat again.

Eating

Lila eats the same amount at each meal as Ipo does, except that she gets one more meal per day. Ipo weighs 83 pounds but he's not growing any bigger. I fed her lunch at noon which is a bit earlier than usual. I wanted her fairly hungry for the 3 o'clock agility intro class. I also wanted her to have a fair amount of time to rest her little brain (we try to do a formal training session durring each meal) before having to learn something new.

Two Dogs

Ipo is starting to play with her more and run away from her less. He will only play with her outside, but will sometimes approach her even in the house.  This works best when she is sleepy.
